The war crimes trial of Chad's former president Hissane Habre is due to resume in Senegal's capital Dakar.
Mr. Habre was accused of ordering the killing of 40,000 people during the eight years he ruled his impoverished central African nation., the charges which he denies.
The court adjourned in July after Mr Habre and his lawyers refused to speak to the judge. The trial marks the first that a court in one country has prosecuted the former leader of another on right charges.
